The Cleveland Cavaliers have a defensive anchor in the paint. Evan Mobley had already shown glimpses of outstanding play on that end of the court, but he’s taken things to a whole new level this season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers signed Evan Mobley to a five-year, $224 million extension in 2024. The deal includes designated rookie language, so the contract could be worth 27.5% or 30% of the cap.
