It’s a new season but the Los Angeles Dodgers are still celebrating their 2024 World Series championship. Rapper Ice Cube rolled up to their dugout in a vintage blue convertible with the Commissioner’s Trophy in the front passenger seat.

The Detroit Tigers were introduced some 40 minutes before game time on Thursday night, lining up along the first-base line, as is the tradition on Opening Day. Then the public address announcer concluded with an unusual message: “A special thank-you to the Tigers for accommodating this extended pregame ceremony.
