The 2024-25 UEFA Champions League final will be played on Saturday, May. 31. All of Europe's top 5 league will have concluded by then, with the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga the last ones to finish on May 25.

The UEFA Champions League is the most celebrated club tournament in the world, and has been won most-often by Real Madrid, who extended their own record tally by beating Borussia Dortmund at Wembley in 2024. For the 2024-25 season we also see a new format (explained below) as the league phase will bring a totally different look to the tournament.

Forest and Liverpool are the only two British clubs that have won the European Cup back-to-back. Three years after Brian Clough was appointed in 1975, the Tricky Trees gained promotion to the First Division. In their first season in the top-flight, they won the league title, finishing ahead of Liverpool by seven points.
