Earth has a weird volcano located in Tanzania which, while continuously erupting carbonatite lava, is also sinking inside the ground at a speed of 1.4 inches per annum in the last decade.

Many field geologists believe that carbonatites were emplaced as liquid magmas; but hitherto there has been no conclusive experimental evidence to support the existence of carbonatite liquids.
