Steve Smith Sr. isn’t the only former Panther who seems irked about Cam Newton’s “locker room of losers” label.

Newton and Vick won’t be the only quarterbacks involved. Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, an expected first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and Diana Flores, the quarterback for Mexico’s 2022 World Games gold-medal team, are among the celebrity players.

Newton said he wouldn’t give up the NFL MVP for a Super Bowl, stating that the “impact” his career had in the league was more important. To explain his point, Newton named several quarterbacks who were less-prolific than he was but ended up winning a Super Bowl.

Former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton had a brilliant season in 2015, totaling 4,473 yards from scrimmage and scoring 45 touchdowns. He took home NFL MVP honors following that impressive campaign.
