ATLANTA — Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed two bills Tuesday morning: one that claims to deliver more than $1 billion in tax relief to residents and another authorizing a round of direct payments of up to $500. The signing happened at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Cobb County as part of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce’s “Marquee Tuesday” event.

Kemp will sign Senate Bill 68, which he named as one of his key legislative priorities before the 2025 Georgia General Assembly.
