Though "Blue Bloods" has come to an end after 14 seasons, Donnie Wahlberg is returning to television screens with a Boston-based spinoff. CBS announced Tuesday that a new drama called "Boston Blue" will hit airwaves later this year.

The spin-off sees Wahlberg's Danny Reagan take a job in Boston Danny Reagan is officially coming back. On Feb. 18, CBS announced a straight-to-series order for a Blue Bloods spinoff with Donnie Wahlberg to reprise his role as the beloved detective.
