Absentee voting became increasingly popular during the pandemic, and now Connecticut voters have approved a ballot measure making it easier for more people to vote by mail in future elections.

Even with nearly a third of Connecticut’s registered voters already having cast their ballots before Tuesday, towns and cities across the state saw a steady stream of voters on Election Day, pointing to the high stakes in the presidential election.
