Just over 106,000 examples of the fourth-gen Tacoma for the US market have been produced with rear brake hoses that may become damaged

Tacos with specific brake-and-wheel combos could see mud or dirt rub a hole in their lines.

Toyota announced a pair of recalls this week expected to impact an estimated 147,000 vehicles over concerns involving a pair of problems. The largest recall impacts 106,000 MY 2024-25 Tacoma 4-wheel drive vehicles equipped with 16-inch brakes and 17-inch Toyota wheels.

The first recall is for the rear center seat belt on the Camry and Lexus NX and RX, while the second relates to the Tacoma's rear brakes.

Toyota issued a press release on Thursday announcing they were recalling more than 140,000 of its Camry and Tacoma models. They also issued a recall for Lexus RX SUVs. There were several reasons for the recalls.
