SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba will hold a meeting on the sidelines of the ASEAN summit which will be hosted by Laos next week, the Yonhap news agency reported, citing Yoon's office.

President Yoon Suk Yeol is poised to visit Laos for the South Korea-ASEAN summit in Vientiane, Laos, on Oct. 10, with both sides working to upgrade ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, the highest level in ASEAN's diplomatic hierarchy.
