Days after deadly storms dropped buckets of rain on Tennessee, a winter storm has brought a few inches of snow and bitter cold temperatures to the region. Areas north of Interstate 40 are under a winter storm warning where anywhere from 2 to 4 inches are expected with some local measurements up to 6 inches,

Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for two areas of Michigan, both calling for some heavy snow and possibly difficult travel conditions on the roads. These two advisory areas are also hundreds of miles apart and have different timing, so let’s separate it out for you here:

A dusting of snow is expected overnight in New Jersey with less than an inch anticipated in most areas as a big winter storm remains south and misses the state. Southern parts of Cape May County may see up to 2 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.

On Wednesday at 5:38 a.m. the NWS Morristown TN issued a winter weather advisory in effect until 1 p.m. for Cherokee and Clay counties.
