The Veilguard has an excellent cast of characters, almost all of which are new to the series. However, it looks like there were once plans for a few characters from previous games to appear as party members.

You’re fighting tooth and nail against a powerful enemy in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, but suddenly you run out of potions and they hit you with a strong attack and bring you to zero HP, forcing you to restart the fight.

With your companions collected and the dragons defeated, there's only one thing left to do: get the best ending for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The good news is that by diligently completing your companion and faction quests you can pretty much breeze through getting very close to the best possible ending to the game.

The Veilguard will take quite a while. Battling Fade demons, Darkspawn, and all other sorts of nastiness can only go so far, and if you want your Rook in peak condition, you'll need to put some effort in.
