A new version of the beloved mid-2000s drama is in early development with original series EPs Jason Katims and Brian Grazer attached.

A new version of drama Friday Night Lights is in the works at Universal Television, with showrunner Jason Katims is onboard to return along with executive producers Brian Grazer and Kristen Zolner of Imagine Entertainment. There is no confirmed outlet at press time, nor has any casting been announced.
