United Nations-backed human rights experts have accused Israel of “the systematic use of sexual, reproductive and other gender-based violence” in its war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli government has rejected the findings of the UN report, which accused it of using "genocidal acts" and sexual violence as a war strategy in Gaza.

The report also accused Israel's security forces of using forced public stripping and sexual assault as part of their standard operating procedures to punish Palestinians.
