After weeks of speculation, it has been officially confirmed that Bollywood actor Bobby Deol will play the antagonist in the much-awaited Thalapathy 69, starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead. This marks Deol’s second venture into Tamil cinema, following his role in the upcoming fantasy epic Kanguva, where he faces off against Suriya.

Thalapathy 69 cast includes Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, and Prakash Raj among others. H. Vinoth is the director and KVN Productions is funding the project.

Actor Bobby Deol officially joined Thalapathy Vijay's last film, directed by H Vinoth, on Tuesday, October 1. While nothing about his character was revealed in the announcement, he is reportedly playing the main villain in the film.

Tentatively titled Thalapathy 69, the project helmed by H Vinoth, has already been announced as the final film in Vijay’s acting career.
