An Israeli strike killed 10 Palestinians and wounded at least 20 others on Saturday at a school in Gaza City currently sheltering displaced families, medics said.

At least 17 people, including women and children, were killed when two Israeli missiles struck a house in the city of Beit Lahia, according to Palestinian reports on Monday. The Hamas-controlled civil defence force said the attack left the building destroyed.

The latest in a series of targeted killings of senior Hezbollah officials came as Lebanese officials were considering a United States-led cease-fire proposal.
