California residents near a wildfire that is largely contained have been ordered to evacuate after the blaze in San Bernardino County flared up

A wildfire in San Bernardino County, California flared up on Sunday, forcing evacuations, after previously being under control. The Line Fire prompted the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department to instruct residents of Seven Oaks to evacuate as flames surged.

The Line Fire was spread over 62.6 square miles, with 83% of the fire contained and 1,176 personnel assigned to fight the fire as of Sunday.

Saturday's earthquake was the seventh of magnitude 3 or greater since Sept. 12, when a magnitude 4.7 earthquake just north of Malibu was widely felt across Southern California.

Some Northern California residents woke up to 3.6 magnitude earthquake Saturday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. USGS said the earthquake struck around 8:30 a.m. in Walker. The area is about 100 miles east of Sacramento and 37 miles southeast from South Lake Tahoe.

Three different earthquakes shook Southern California on Saturday, notably the Malibu coastline which has been hit four times since September started.
