There was initial concern when New England Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore was absent from practice on Friday. However, the Boston Herald’s Doug Kyed quelled those concerns with his reported reasoning for Barmore’s absence.

While it's a long shot that he would play after just one padded practice, the Patriots are leaving the door open.
