Just as one year ago on his Gresini debut, Marc Marquez finished his first MotoGP test as an official Ducati Lenovo rider with fourth place on the timesheets. While last year he was making his Desmosedici debut on a satellite bike at Valencia, this year he was focussing on a prototype version of next year’s factory GP25.

Six-time MotoGP champion Marc Marquez made his debut with the factory Ducati team in the Barcelona post-season test on Tuesday morning. More than an hour after the track action began, Marquez finally headed out on track to get his first taste of next year's GP25 at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

MotoGP: "I know the pressure, I know what Ducati's results are, but everything has to be managed because Pecco did an incredible job this year, but it wasn't enough to win the World Championship."

The #93 dedicated 48 laps to testing in Barcelona, noting that both he and Pecco Bagnaia shared similar feedback after his first outing with the factory team and the GP25

Teams get a chance to gain important data to hone their new bikes in the first official test for the 2025 season

Marquez was not alone in making his debut aboard new machinery, as 2024 world champion Jorge Martin jumped aboard the Aprilia RS-GP for the first time, alongside new team-mate Marco Bezzecchi.
