The NFL calendar speeds into the Scouting Combine for the final week of February. With everyone who’s anyone heading to Indianapolis for the annual scouting extravaganze and de facto NFL meetings, it’s a good time to reset the Detroit Lions with another mock draft.

This week’s Dungeon of Doom podcast is back to discuss Ben Raven and Kory Woods' mocks before heading to the NFL combine for a week in Indianapolis. Both hosts are thinking defense, specifically at edge defender, but they had different names for Detroit at Pick 28.

The NFL Draft is about traits. Especially in the first round. The vast majority of teams prioritize athletic traits early because of the upside they produce. Just ask the Philadelphia Eagles. Essentially all of their stars were freaky specimens as prospects and have spectacular combine/pro day workouts on their resumes.
