The Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) on Wednesday announced that it is pulling the team out of the fourth edition of the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, scheduled to be held in Pakistan,

India and Pakistans relations have long been fraught with challenges, impacting sporting exchanges between the two nations. This latest development is part of a broader trend, as Indian teams across sports have often refrained from traveling to Pakistan in recent years due to diplomatic and security concerns.

The T20 Blind World Cup will proceed as planned in Pakistan despite the absence of the Indian blind cricket team.

Chairman Syed Sultan Shah said the PBCC had completed all arrangements for hosting the World Cup and there would be no schedule change.

The Indian blind cricket team reportedly failed to get clearance from the government to participate in the upcoming T20 World Cup for the Blind in Pakistan. As a result, the team has withdrawn from the competition.
