VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday cancelled his two-day tour to Maharashtra, where he was scheduled to campaign for NDA candidates, and rushed to Hyderabad on receiving news of the demise of his younger brother, Nara Ramamurthy Naidu.

N Ramamurthy Naidu, former TDP MLA and brother of Chandrababu Naidu, passed away at 72. Remembered for his political contributions, he leaves behind a lasting legacy.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's younger brother Ramamurthy Naidu died at 72 on Saturday after a prolonged illness in Hyderabad. Ramamurthy Naidu had been hospitalised three days earlier due to cardio-respiratory issues and was on a ventilator.
