Earlier this summer, Caleb Martin agreed to a four-year deal worth $32 million with the Philadelphia 76ers. While it’s been nearly a couple of months since his signing, it’s only recently that Martin posted a heartfelt farewell message to Miami on social media.

Caleb Martin and the Philadelphia 76ers reached a four-year, $32 million contract earlier this summer. Even though Martin signed a contract with Miami almost a month ago, he didn't really say goodbye to the city until recently on social media.

Martin joins the Sixers after three successful seasons with the Miami Heat. He will bring toughness, experience, and intangibles to Philadelphia as he was a key piece on two Eastern Conference finals teams and a finals run as the No. 8 seed in 2023. He seems to perform his best when the lights are the brightest and against the Boston Celtics.

The Philadelphia 76ers will have a new face at the power forward spot in the form of Caleb Martin. The Sixers were able to sign him away from the rival Miami Heat and look for him to make the difference in playoff games to help them get over the Round 2 hump in the East.
