Slovakia followed up its win over the United States with a 2-0 victory over Australia to reach the semifinals of the Billie Jean King Cup finals.

Ashlyn Krueger and Taylor Townsend saved six match points but ultimately lost the decisive doubles match and the United States was defeated 6-3, 3-6, 10-8 by Slovakia and was eliminated in the first round of the Billie Jean King Cup Finals.

Slovakia advanced to the semifinals of the Billie Jean King Cup after defeating Australia 2-0. Rebecca Sramkova secured the win against Ajla Tomljanovic, and Viktoria Hruncakova secured her sixth consecutive victory by beating Kimberly Birrell.
