Day two of the second India-Bangladesh cricket test was abandoned without a ball bowled Saturday because of rain. Persistent rain at the Green Park stadium had again prevented play in the morning session and conditions did not improve thereafter as the entire ground stayed under covers.

Persistent rain washed out the second day of the already weather-disrupted second Test between India and Bangladesh at Green Park, Kanpur on Saturday.

The second day’s play was called off in India’s weather-plagued second Test against Bangladesh without a ball being bowled, following intermittent rain in Kanpur

Persistent rain forced the officials to call off early stumps on Day 1 as only 35 overs were bowled. Bangladesh were on 107/3 by 35 overs by the end of the first day.
