Pequot Museum is located in an ancient cedar forest minutes away from Foxwoods Resort Casino. Our innovative, interactive, award-winning museum is the world's largest Native American museum. We inspire awareness and understanding of the cultures, histories and survival of northeastern (U.S.) indigenous people. Our spectacular 308,000-square-foot complex consists of permanent exhibits, the Mashantucket Gallery (for temporary exhibits), classrooms, a 320-seat auditorium, a café, a museum shop, collections, archives, archaeology, conservation laboratories and a viewing tower for panoramic views of the region. Our permanent exhibits take visitors on an 18,000-year journey through time, from Native American origin stories to present day.

I don’t know - but this museum is fascinating and worth the full price of entry. Be sure to see the village set up and hear the commentary on each exhibit of life in times gone by

Q:
I am thinking of the museum as a group destination for our Hadassah women's group. We would like to come off season with about 15 -20 women. We would need a guided tour and lunch and information on transportation if you have any. I was thinking of the charity bus from the casino... Do you think this would be of interest to us?
A:
Absolutely, I'm not 100% sure, but bet they would love to do that for you and the museum is well worth visiting. Call and get the details. Just google Pequot Museum.
