Lovely free tour stating every day at the town hall. Great tour guide Indrie we really enjoyed. Did main sights st Anne’s cathedral main cathedral and the independent artists state governed by a cat. Full review by PhilippaW688

Hi Kate. Vilnius is a great city. We took two Free Walking Tours; the Old Town Tour and the Jewish tour. Both were excellent, but the latter one was exceptional. We were the only non Jewish people on the tour ( other than the tour guide) and found the tour very educational. Both tours begin at the steps of the old Town Hall. I can't advise about the prices to the Hill of Crosses as we had a rental car . We spent about an hour at the Hill of Crosses. Enjoy.

Hi Geraldine! No, you don't necessarily need to pre-book and pre-pay for these regular tours. At the moment we have regular Soviet tours every Monday, Thursday and Saturday, starting at 3PM from Gediminas monument at the Cathedral square. Jewish tour starts every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 10 AM from Vilnius town hall (Didzioji st. 31). Just show up at the meeting point and look there for us with a yellow sign. You can pay cash or by card before the tour :)
