Hi not sure about a ferry from Nice in fact I don't think there is one, it's a long way from Nice via boat. The St Tropez harbour is small with the main part right in the centre but the further side of the harbour where some small ferries dock is on the opposite side of the town but only approximately 5 min walk to the centre.
Visited last summer, but thinking to come back end of September/beginning ofOctober. Will it be busy and more importantly what will the weather be like! We'll be staying at Les Tournels so would like to use their pool and visit the beach!

Hi, I'd say it won't be that busy starting Sept, definitely not in Oct. However, the weather might be colder. I was in Oct and the weather was ok during day time, a bit more chilly in the evenings. The wather was still warm even in the evenings. Of course, this might vary from year to year.
