It's $20, and well worth it. Make the trek out to the gift shop though if you aren't a group - they will accommodate you if it's at all possible. Also, they have taken really nice precautions, so I felt very comfortable with the tour. Groups are very small, six or less, and there is plenty of room for distancing on the tour at this time (July 2020) The tour guide I had was really great - he was upbeat, knew his stuff, and his upbringing as the son of a science teacher really showed. This cavern has some truly breathtaking formations, and you aren't rushed through on the tour. It's definitely worth the money.

Yes, you can sit out on the covered porch and look at the campgrounds. Lots of birds were there at the time we went through there.
