Hi, due to the temperature there, most people wear a dry suit to dive and snorkel, which can be rather bulky. When diving the air supply from your tank is also plugged into your dry suit, this enables you to control your buoyancy throughout your dive. However, you won't have a tank as you're snorkeling but I think you'd get to wear some form of buoyancy aid. I would advise you to contact Dive Island to answer this question safely. Both Einar and Hedinn are wonderful instructors and will take great care of you before and during your adventure. I know that the regulations for diving are strict(ish) for diving but I'm not certain how and what is applied for snorkeling. Email them your concerns and they will advise you accordingly. I hope you get to snorkel there as it is a wonderful place and an amazing experience. Good luck

I don’t think that ought to be a problem but I would reach out to the company directly to be sure. They are very responsive to any inquiries ( great personnel ).
