You don't have to book but if you don't you will only be able to access unsold or unredeemed tickets... should there be any. Book on line through doubleU doubleU doubleU dot (TA won't let me provide the link) aph.gov.au/Visit_Parliament/Whats_On/Parliament_in_action which also allows you to check the schedule to make sure that Parliament is actually sitting and that you're not just looking at an empty chamber.

Hi Janet, Not sure if there are wheelchairs available to use but there are many comfortable chairs and seats once you in the building. Hope you enjoy.

Except the two houses, one can visit all areas including the TOP.
