I like Rauma especially in summer time, but it is also really beautiful in other seasons. If I can propose a one time trip to west coast. Rent a car and visit Turku. Early wake-up and you are in Turku at 10 a.m.. In Turku riverside is beautiful. For lunch restaurant called Tintå is good choice. Visit cathedral and castle. Drive to Rauma. Good choice for dinner is Goto restaurant and stay the night in hotel Vanha Rauma. Enjoy old Rauma next day and drive to Helsinki. Actually it is one and half hour drive from Rauma to Tampere also. It is beautiful town. Restaurant "C" is excellent choice for dinner. Old Kauppahalli (market hall) is must to visit in Tampere. There is also good French restaurant for lunch. Stay the night in hotel Torni (Tower) and you are on the top of the city and you can see both big lakes.
