Walked out to this beach for a look around. Since we didn't take towels or chairs we didn't stay long. We just walked along the shore to see what we could find. No shells on shore but we did find a w…Full review by dese2

There are very few free beaches left in NJ and this beach is one of the team. The waves here are generally gentle, it's a little bit more rocky than others and some of the access points might be dif…Full review by psudino

Great beach to relax, listen to the waves, fish, enjoy lunch, kick back. Need those who bring dogs to keep them leashed though. Watching the sunset here is a must do if in the area. Not crowded. Full review by PatS2128
Higbee used to be an ‘official’ nude beach but no longer has that status. People still use it as a topless beach and nude beach the farther down you go away from the Cape May Ferry.
Any idea if I can park a small (25ft) rv near there for a few hours? I have been to Cape may tons of times but never here and never in my RV. I am also open to north cape may beach area. Thank you

You probably could, in the off-season. Higbee Beach has two parking lots, but neither of them are large. One has maybe parking for 6-8 vehicles, and the main one can accommodate maybe 20 cars/SUVs/pickups, if people don't hog up too much space. You'd need to park parallel to the perimeter, but taking up several spaces really shouldn't be a problem off-season. Might be a bit tight getting turned around or backing out, to leave, but I've never seen a sign prohibiting RVs.
I'm curious if nudity is allowed still, and if so, is the area pretty clearly defined?

Technically illegal (sort of), simple nudity is not illegal but police might ask you to cover up and/or issue a citation for disorderly conduct or similar. Lewd (sexual) behavior is another matter, this will and should result in arrest. Our experience at Higbee (including summer 2019) is easy to relate, just go, be nude if desired and mind you own business, nobody will care including the authorities.
