I had the pleasure of visiting Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, and I must say, it was an awe-inspiring experience. Nestled in the shadow of the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari, the temple seamlessly merges with …Full review by ColinN2412

We were at hatshepsut about 45 minutes. There is a short drive between them. Taxis for the day can easily be arranged from Luxor. Be prepared to bargain - you can get it really cheaply.
Is it easy to Visit it By myself or would you suggest for me to get a guide ?

It is easy to visit and if you know some of the temple history you can find the temple drawing that explains Hatshepsuts divine birth to justify her title as pharoah. But nothing is marked so if you have no background yourself youll just wander around (or eavesdrop on the numerous other groups & their guides!!) hello...yes it did...I think about 50 egp...( approx. 8 AUD )...nearly all tourist sites have an entrance fee. If u go to see Hatshepsut's place do NOT get involved with the 'guides' at the top all too willing to take a picture for u. They will ALL demand a payment for their favour which is normal for Egypt. And run thru the market they channel u thru on way to temple...its full of crap stuff that u wouldn't want. Just smile and say '' no thank u " and keep walking at a good pace. my biggest tip for all of Egypt...lol, do not stop or they will swarm.
