Falakata is a city and a municipality near Jaldhaka River in the Alipurduar subdivision of the Alipurduar district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Falakata is located at 26°32′N 89°12′E / 26.53°N 89.2°E It has an average elevation of 88 metres. Mujnai is the main river. Falakata is surrounded by rich forests, corn fields and the nearby Kunjanagar Eco-Park.
