High atop a hill, this has wonderful views and information on Captain Cook. It was a nice stop but there was a tour ahead of us that left very little room for our group. Full review by beth ann k

When there are big ships in the harbour the views are quite stunning. Even without it's still very pretty but seeing a cruise ship from such a vantage point is really neat. Full review by Overheadstarlift

Unfortunately there is no public transportation to these sites. However, you can walk (uphill) to Captain Cook's monument from city centre within 1/2 hour. A brief taxi ride would be in order if you wished to visit Man in the Mountain as it located on the highway leading into town.

No , it is too far- but take a cab as the view is beautiful and the historic information is well presented.If you are looking for something fun to do near Cornerbrook ,I recommend a trip to Marble Mountain and try zip lining. I am in my 60's and was nervous but I am so glad I did it!!
