Q:
Is there any swimming areas near the falls? Thanks.
A:
No, just splashing pools & of course the waterfall. Hike back to the river for swimming. Contact Buffalo River Outfitters & watch the river levels on their website. They are very helpful.
Q:
what canoe trip did you take to get you to the sign for the falls?
A:
Put in at Steele Creek and take out at Kyle's Landing. One small rapid past Jim's Bluff on river left you should see a small sign marked HIH and/or Falls. Easy to find on googlemaps.
