Hey thanks for the question. I was in salento for 6 day and there were days it was rain off and on, and there were days it would rain for a good half a day. Either way your trekking through mud. Some of my friends and I were just covered in mud, but it was still 100% worth it. Bring a good pair of hiking boots for traction but be mindful they will be covered in mud. I hope this helps.
