This place is more a symbol than an actual thing. People come here to take pictures with other countries behind a river, have some snack, and dance in the evening when there is live music. Despite b…Full review by Jana K

I wish to visit Landmark of the Three Frontiers in Foz do Iguacu around 10-11 A.M on Monday, 30 April, 2018, as I have to catch the bus from Puerto Iguazu to Buenos Aires at 2.30 PM. I have two questions. 1. Is the Landmark and Park open during day time? At various websites it is written that it opens at 2.00 PM 2. I have multiple visa of both Argentine and Brazil. Is the immigration at border smooth or it takes much time. Will it be possible for me to visit the Landmark of the Three Frontiers and be back in Puerto Iguazu in time to catch the bus?

Not sure if it is opened at 10 am, I would say yes, but ask at the hotel or check the website. They have some shows at certain times, so this might be confused with opening times. Crossing the border can be a challenge, it can take long (2 hours) or be quick like 10 minutes. When we crossed we took a guideed tour with their car and it took us about 30 minutes to cross. If you are in a bus the drivers go to a special queue so it should be OK. If you want to cross by car it can be risky. Three Frontiers is nothing really special, you can see it from Argentina as they have a monument as well. It is just an obelisk, a fountain and you can see the other 2 countries from there. And of course they charge a fee to enter. If you go at 10, you should be done by 10:30, so then I think you should be able to make it as people said it never takes more than 2 hours to cross.
