We have Historic Scotland membership so a visit to the Castle is essential when in Stirling. Views from the ramparts were wonderful on this cold but clear dayFull review by 423calums

At that age they will probably get bored and tire quickly but there is plenty of space for them to run around. There are a few particular things they might like such as visiting the kitchens which have been recreated with mannequins as well as visit some of the rooms where the tour guides are dressed in character.
