My husband has a had time walking. Is it easy to access the falls for someone like him?

I suggest viewing from the top. There is a paved path down to the water but a bit of an incline.

Yes as long as your pup is agile and leashed it should be fine.

Would the walk down and back be okay for an adventurous 5 year old?
A:
Yes. I wouldn't suggest the rope walk, but the top portion of the walk yes. It is a bit rocky and not a paved walkway. It is slippery when the pathway is wet.
