A lovely historic park with Roman archaeological features. Lovely for a day of walking with a nearby church. A very rural location. Consider taking plenty of food and drink.Full review by Daniel S

You can spend as long as you like here. A very short visit to read the display board in the car park, go to the loo and glance over the view of the site would take you ten minutes. A walk around the site would be one to two hours if you took your time on a pleasant day. We had a walk of about half an hour, ate our picnic, spending about an hour there. Hope you enjoy your visit, however long you have available.

Q:
Would taking a picnic be advised?
A:
Yes, on a nice day it would be lovely! There's no cafe/similar particularly close (as far as I'm aware) so a picnic would be good.
Q:
Hello are dogs allowed?
A:
Yes, dogs are allowed, we often walk our dogs here. Sometimes there are cattle grazing and they have to be on the lead through the churchyard, but in general it's a nice place to walk dogs

Q:
Hi, can anyone tell me if it is wheelchair friendly plz, as would like to visit while we are in reading this coming weekend.
A:
I am almost certain you could walk as far as the amphitheatre on a fairly even path and so it would be wheelchair friendly.
