We’ve been to 221b street in London and this is a great companion Museum. Definitely offers additional history and artifacts with a focus on The Final Problem.Full review by SBtraveler8

Does anyone knows if it's possible to visit the museum with a (well behaved, on leash) dog?

I do not know - but it is Switzerland and they allow their dogs into restaurants, trains and many other places not possible in my country. Good luck.

Yes, there is a train from Interlaken which goes to Meiringen. The ride is about 30 minutes.
