One of the best natural history museums I've seen, and I've been to many. The way the curators combine the feel of an old-style museum (taxidermic animals) with modern science, esthetics and educatio… Full review by Kai C

Great natural history museum! Perfect for our toddler. Not too big as to be overwhelming, or as to "necessitate" a whole day (or multiple days) to feel like you can see a lot--although we (adults) co… Full review by Brittany_11_10

This is a large museum of natural history. Very similar to natural history museums in other major cities. Several dinosaurs, some of which are original and some are casts. If you can get on a tour, i… Full review by md1mm

Hi - if alone I would buy a Tageskarte Frankfurt Flughafen (9.10 €) ticket which will get you to the museum and back again. You could take a normal train to the Hauptbahnhof (Frankfurt main rly stn) or relevant S-bahn then change at Hauptbahnhof onto the metro or U-bahn on route U4 - 2 stops via Festhalle/Messe to Bockenheimer Warte station. It is then about a 5-10 min walk to the museum. See link below for more info. It's a great Natural History museum with a small but excellent restaurant on the 1st floor. For young and old its a superb place to spend a day. Hope you enjoy your visit. Look it up under 'rome2rio' Cheers Jon Barker

Hi! Louis. The museum is rather close to the airport. Some 20 to 25 minutes driving. We used a private taxi service.. transfers in germany and they were excellent. Cost per ride was 39 Euros. On the other hand we stayed in the NH Frankfurt am Messe hotel, about 10 to 15 minutes walking to the museum but although it could be for a family, it is more of a business oriented hotel. Very good indeed. Just across the street of a large mall, the convention center and 20 to 30 minutes walk to down town.
Hi, I would be very grateful if anyone could tell me how much cost a ticket for students and if I should reserve a week before the visit. Thanks.
