I believe photography is allowed inside the house. I live a block away from the Hayes home and have been there many times. It has been gorgeously renovated with wallpapers, carpets, upholstery, etc made to match exactly what was original to the home, and it is a feast for the eyes. Prior to being made into a historic site, the home was always in the Hayes family, so it's in great condition. Be sure to walk the grounds, known as "Spiegel Grove." It is lovely. There's an iron fence surrounding the property, and it include gates that were originally at the White House. Ample parking is available. The museum/library is wheelchair accessible. There is a cost to visit the museum and tour the home, but you can visit the gift shop, walk the grounds and see the burial site at no cost. Locals come here to have their photo's taken on special occasions, and you will be able to get some great shots outside.

The new admission price is: 2 day pass which is good for the museum and the home tour: $20 for adults ($18 for AAA members, 65 and older, and military), $10 for students ages 13-18, $5 for students 6-12, and free for children 5 years old and younger. 1 day pass is $13 for adults with add-ons for various things like the backstairs tour.

We traveled by car, so I didn't notice any area specific to RVs. They do bus school groups in. I just checked their website.under "Visitor Tips and Accessibility" which clearly states that bus and RV parking is available. The sizable property abuts what looks like a nice residential area in town where we saw ample street parking.. I don't foresee a parking problem if you have an RV. If you want to be sure, I suggest that you call them directly. We found the employees to be very nice, personable, and helpful.
We would like to visit the burial site without doing the tour or seeing the library. Is that possible? If we still have to pay admission, how much is it?

One correction to an earlier post - the museum and home are now open for tours (there was renovation going on the first part of the summer), admission to either is $7.50 each or $13.00 for both. You can walk the grounds and see the burial site without paying admission, but it would be a shame to go all the way to Fremont and not see both, it does not take that much time to tour (you could do both in 2 hours or less if you are in a hurry). It is a a good idea to call ahead of your visit, sometimes they have special events (like Civil War re-enactments) on site.
