I think the only open portion right now is the children's park playground area. Two other sections are supposed to be opening on Nov. 18th. I've heard that the city plans on reopening the golf course and that area in January.

The Texas Zoo has a fee: $5.50 Seniors (age 55+) $8.00 Adults (age 13+) $7.00 Children (age 3-12) $4.50 Active/Retired Military Free Toddlers (age 2 and under) Free Annual Pass Holders The boat ramp in the park does not charge a fee as far as I know. There are no rentals available in the park so you would need to have your own kayak or canoe and shuttle. Inside the park itself you could paddle from the boat ramp to the Pump House Restaurant. It is 4.25 miles. The goldfcourse is now being run by the city and is temporarily closed. The Rose Garden is also free as well as the children"s play areas.
