Lighthouses are so cool. The only bummer is that it’s so decayed we’re not allowed inside. Worth the trip, it’s only a minute off the road. Nice little visitors center.Full review by Summerasalifestyle

You should be able to nearby. The lighthouse repairs have been "ongoing" for some 20 years. It doesn't look like it will be fixed up any time soon. The lightkeeper house next to the lighthouse has an unsightly chain link fence that has been there forever, so pictures are best from far away.

We are not from California so I cannot give you good directions. We spent a few days in SF and then traveled to Malibu via Hwy 1. Pigeon Point was on Hwy 1 as we travelled.
