We saw 3 lighthouses on this day trip. Nice parking lot and then a short walk to the lighthouse. No fee to park. We didn't walk up the ramp to the lighthose, probably should have. I'll just have …Full review by bigtyke

Another vacation in Maine that included a visit to this scenic lighthouse. The walk to lighthouse is very scenic though the older we get the further it seems from the parking lot.Full review by westie2

Park at Owl's Head Light State Park and walk .2 miles on a packed dirt road. The lighthouse is small, but the views are amazing. Climb easy, long stairs to get to the lighthouse. There is also a g…Full review by Russell W

Are there snow owls at the area of the lighthouse
A:
I have never seen again. Seagulls are much more typical for the area.

Are dogs allowed on the land outside of the lighthouse?
A:
We took our dog up - - didn't see any signs saying they are prohibited. Please note though that space is at a premium up there so don't take you pooch if there are many people around.
