Q:
Can you kayak fro. The park down river and turn around and come back? We are interested in car camping and kayaking for the day. TIA
A:
Currently due to heavy rainfall the river is almost at flood stage and it would be really difficult to paddle against the flow upstream.
Q:
Are any of the sites paved or actual gravel? Everything I'm seeing appears to be sand.
A:
I think most sites are sand. Beware of the deer ticks. They are very tiny and hard to see.
