This is a photographer’s dream. Beautiful location with nearby parking and easy to get to. The rocky shoreline has tide pools and it’s a great introduction to Maine’s beautiful landscapes.Full review by notb4mybeer

I’m not sure what event you are referring to, its a drive through a neighborhood to get out of your car and look at the lighthouse... I’m sure the roads will be open. You can’t get over to the lighthouse it is on an island.
My husband and are are trying to find a place for a few days near here and/or York Beach. And of course places to indulge our lobster obsession. Suggestions are most welcome.

The is a wonderful restaurant near the lighthouse. We enjoy dining there by the water. Get there early for good seating.
